Unfair Dismissal Claims Stoke

Unfair Dismissal can be a distressing experience for anyone.   4. If an employee is dismissed for Sex, Race, Age or Disability Discrimination.
  5. Dismissal due to an employee instantiating their rights under employment laws.
  6. Dismissal due to an employee following health and safety guidelines.
  7. If an employee is dismissed due to their acting as employee representative or being a candidate to become an employee representative.
  8. Dismissal due to an employees right to be accompanied to a disciplinary hearing or grievance hearing.
  9. Dismissal due to an employee acting as a pension scheme trustee.
  10. Dismissal in relation to the working time regulations.
  11. Dismissal due to an employee asserting their rights under The National Minimum Wage Act 1998.
  12. Dismissal due to an employee taking part in protected industrial action.
  13. Dismissal due to an employee asserting their rights under the Tax Credits Act 1999.
  14. Dismissal due to an employee asserting their rights under the Part Time Workers (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Regulations 2000.
  15. The selection for an employee for redundancy based upon a reason which would have been automatically unfair if the same reason was used to dismiss the worker.
  16. Dismissal based on ‘Whistleblowing’, where the disclosure is made in the public interest.
